Captain Kirk Kirkland


Kirk Kirkland is the original alligator gar guide for rod and reel catch and release angling. He has been featured on numerous TV shows including National Geographic’s Monster Fish! Kirk Kirkland started guiding for alligator gar in 1999, and has caught alligator gar from Mexico to the Mississippi River and all parts in between. Captain Kirk also caught the largest gar ever caught by rod and reel, a 365-pound, 9-foot-6-inch alligator gar in 1991. Kirk Kirkland has caught six fish over 300 pounds, and catches between one to six fish that weigh in over 200 pounds each year. Captain Kirk has amassed almost 100 International Game Fish Association (IGFA) world records for all gar species, and holds more fresh water world records than any other licensed guide. Captain Jason Quintano

Southeast Michigan

Captain Jason and his brother Matthew Quintano have been fishing Lake Saint Clair their entire lives. Fins and Grins Muskie Charters specializes in casting and trolling trips on world renowned Lake Saint Clair. Over the past eight seasons the Quintano brothers have boated thousands of Muskie, but their tournament record is what sets them apart from the rest. In the spring, they run walleye trips jigging the Detroit river where limit catches and 10-pound Walleye are an almost daily occurrence. Then in the month of May, they fish smallmouth bass in Lake Saint Clair. Fins and Grins Muskie Charters has two boats, a 30-foot Baha sportfish for trolling and a ZX24 Skeeter bayboat for casting and jigging. Both captains are USCG certified charter captains and fully insured.

Captain Steve Nagy

Southwest Florida

Specializing in live bait and light tackle fishing, Captain Steve Nagy has been fishing the west coast of Florida since 1989. Growing up in Massachusetts Captain Steve fished the Merrimack River and Plum Island regions before migrating south to Bonita Springs. Captain Steve has fished the inshore Grass Flats and Mangrove Islands of the Bonita Springs and Estero Bay areas of Southwest Florida for Snook, Redfish, Trout and Shark for over 13 years. Captain Steve also targets other species of fish such as Tarpon, Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, King Mackerel, Tripletail and many others based on season. The Southwest Florida area is a great place to fish with so many different species to target at different times of the year. Captain Steve also fishes and schedules charters in Pine Island, Naples, Marco Island, 10,000 Islands, and The Florida Keys.
